Angling conditions have improved greatly over
the last week with heavy rain increasing water
levels and many fish moving up into the upper
regions . Davy Campbell had 3 grilse and Colin
Wilson took 4 grilse. Jackie Hamilton(Omagh) had
3 fish and released back to the water a
magnificent 13lb hen fish.
Salmon anglers are also reporting good catches
at Berti Andersons on the Camowen and also on
the Drumragh.Eddie Fisher had a lovely 8lb fish
with sea lice on Monday on the fly at the
Meetings in Newtownstewart. The weather is to
stay wet so hopefully there will be plenty of
salmon on the move.
