Weather Conditions
26/07/2006
Due to the recent spell of very hot and dry
weather the conditions for fishing have not been
very favourable. Although there is a large
number of salmon in the system it is imperative
that during this dry spell that all anglers
should check the rivers for signs of pollutions
and possible fish kills. There have been a few
cases within the last few weeks but fortunately
these resulted in only small losses of around 20
small trout. Any signs of pollution we would ask
anglers to report it to the Loughs Agency as
soon as possible.
