As seen in the local press it is vital that due
to the low water conditions that anglers remain
vigilant to the possibility of pollution. We
have had a near miss on the River Strule with
what seems to be milk seeping into the river
Only the quick response of Seamus Cullinan and
his team saved the large numbers of salmon in
the river and no adult salmon were lost due to
the incident.Hopefully the rain forecast for the
coming week will improve conditions and make
pollution like this less of a threat.
